There is another advantage besides just looking pretty. Roscoflamex PA can’t be used in metallic paints that contain metal flakes because it tarnishes the metal and curdles the paint. Because Metallix contains no metal, there’s nothing to cause an adverse chemical reaction. Therefore, Metallix paints can be made flame retardant just like any other Rosco paint.
