The annual darc awards - architectural, sponsored by darc and mondo*arc magazines in collaboration with Light Collective, are given to the best lighting design projects as selected by independent lighting designers from around the world. We are delighted that our products were integrated into the five projects below, all of which were shortlisted for the 2017 darc awards.

In an effort to create a new way for visitors to experience the architecture of London’s Victoria & Albert Museum, Arup, UK used Rosco Custom Gobos to project “Light Sgraffito” onto the museum’s façade.

Nulty+ and Karen Van Creveld used our new Image Spot LED Gobo Projectors to project Rosco Gobos during the 2016 LewesLight Festival to help celebrate the culture, history, and environment of the United Kingdom’s Lewes and South Downs region.

Rosco also provided Image Spots and gobos for Pockets of Light, an event organized by The Society of Light and Lighting as a part of their Night of Heritage Light, which engaged students as they creatively lit historic York locations.

The Night-time Design Pilot project explored the lighting of the urban nightlife in the Getsemaní neighborhood of Cartagena, Colombia. Arup, in collaboration with Despacio and LSE, used Rosco e-colour+ Color Filters to design several distinct street light lanterns – with citizen input – that encapsulated the authentic value of a neighborhood and its inhabitants.
