Rosco & DMG Lumière – Creating Brilliance Together

We’re thrilled to announce Rosco’s acquisition of the Film, Television and Broadcast LED specialist company DMG Lumière. Since its start in Lyon, France in 2014, DMG Lumière has experienced great success, quick growth and its products have been recognized as innovative set lighting tools by filmmakers around the globe. “DMG Lumière is the perfect partner as we look to grow our business, and we’re delighted to welcome them into the Rosco family,” said Rosco CEO Mark Engel.

The acquisition represents a ‘win-win’ situation for customers of both companies. DMG Lumière’s technology and talent will further develop the Rosco LED Lighting product range, while at the same time Rosco’s global sales, marketing, distribution and customer service teams will provide customers easier access to the DMG product-range worldwide.

The DMG Lumière Partners: Jean, Nils and Mathieu de Montgrand and Nicolas Goerg

DMG Lumière was founded by the de Montgrand brothers; Mathieu, Nils and Jean, and their partner Nicolas Goerg. Amongst them are an LED lighting developer, a gaffer and a renowned cinematographer – and they’re all joining the Rosco team to continue developing customer-driven LED solutions.

Filmmakers appreciate the versatility of the DMG Lumière Switch range of LED lights. The impressive power-to-size/weight ratio of the lights make them ideal set lighting tools thanks to their mobile, robust and power-efficient engineering.
