Use the Raw Sienna, Van Dyke Brown, and Raw Umber to create a nicely aged and dusty farmstead.](https://spectrum.rosco.com/rosco-design-palettes-world-of-oz#ScenicCoatings) [For the all-important Yellow Brick Road, mix the Golden Yellow and Raw Sienna together to create a golden base color, then use the Burnt Umber as the dark mortar color that will make your yellow bricks pop. Emerald Green is a great (and obvious) choice for any Emerald City scenery but mixing it with some Pthalo Green can help tone it down a bit for a darker shadow tone. You can also use the two green colors for the forest and the leaves of the apple trees. Use the R3206 as the base color of your tornado lighting wash with accents of E202 swirling in and out. These blue-tones will contrast perfectly as you transition into the warmth & color of Oz. You can also add flashes of the earthy R325 to create some poppy-colored lightning in the storm. The G666 is the obvious followspot color for The Wicked Witch/Evilene/Elphaba, and the R336 Billington Pink is brilliant as the followspot color for Glinda. Not only does the R336 bathe her in pink, but it will also negate any contamination from the green-colored followspot should the two followspots come together. You can also use the G666 along with the R386 as green washes to light up your Emerald City scenery. The R362 will create a cool and industrial feel for the scene where we meet The Wizard/The Wiz. If not on stage, consider projecting this effect in the lobby leading up to the doors of the theater as the audience enters.     Create stage washes using the architectural lines of G697 to accentuate the high-tech and luxurious feel of the Emerald City.         Wash the stage with R79653 gobos combined with the R336 to make your Glinda scenes extra-bubbly and pink!
