Introducing Rosco Slideys™

One thing guaranteed to be on almost every film set is flags. And while many of the solids and floppies will get used a ton – many of the flags on the cart will sit there doing nothing. Rosco Slideys were designed to fix this by enabling image capture professionals to slide one over a flag or gel frame and quickly turn that unused piece of gear into another tool needed on set.

A Versatile Tool For Lighting Control

This patent-pending system can convert virtually any 24"x36" (61 x 92 CM) or 48"x48" (1.22 x 1.22 M) gel frame or flag – even torn or damaged flags – into a reflector, a bouncer, or a small blue or green screen.

Dual-Purpose Solutions

Slideys were engineered to be dual-sided so that they could turn single-use flags and gel frames into a multipurpose tools for image capture. The Silver and Gold Slidey have a soft, pebbled side and a hard lamé side, the Muslin Slideys are unbleached on one side and bleached on the other, and the Chroma Key Slideys provide both blue screen and green screen options.

Easy To Transport And Store

Perhaps the biggest advantage of Slideys is their ability to fold up for storage when not in use. The alternative is to have dedicated foam boards, which take up a lot more space on set, in a warehouse, or on a truck. For example, it would take eight 48”x48” rigid boards to do the same job that a set of four Slideys can do.

Rosco Slideys are available wherever Rosco products are sold. Make sure you have a set on your next project so that you can slide on a Rosco Slidey and quickly turn any unused flags and gel frames into other tools needed on set.
