Softgood Solutions in Spain Roscotex Delivers On-Time For “Tomorrowland”

Written by Tatiana Massano | October 06, 2015

When the crew filming Tomorrowland visited The City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain, they arrived with an urgent order for filmmaking textiles like butterflies, flags and floppies – not to mention more than 400 meters of blue Chroma Key fabric that they needed for digital compositing.

Roscotex provided the Chroma Key Blue fabric for the Spain sets of “Tomorrowland”

Our Roscotex division, based in Madrid, supplied all of the light-control fabrics the Tomorrowland crew needed, including Molton, Nets, Cinebounce, Muslin, Reflectors and various densities of Grid Cloth. Their order was big, it was urgent, and Rosco ensured that the tight deadline was met so that filming could begin on time.

The "Tomorrowland" set lighting crew bounced light onto the set using large, sewn overheads of Rosco Cinebounce

See the results - Tomorrowland is available on Disney DVD and Blu-ray™ October, 13th.

Roscotex manufactures filmmaking tools such as butterflies, overheads, flags, floppies and cycloramas using all of the standard materials filmmakers need for controlling light and digital compositing. They keep standard sizes in stock and custom sizes and finishing are also available upon request. Contact Roscotex for more information.
