Wooden Kiwi Productions, a Rosco Floor Dealer in Massachusetts, recently installed a Rosco SubFloor in preparation for performances of Yvonne Rainer: The Concept of Dust, or How do you look when there's nothing left to move? at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
Fittingly enough – Yvonne Rainer crafted the piece to express the aches and pains experienced during the aging process. Surely, the inspirational 80 year-old dancer, choreographer and author of “The Aching Body in Dance,” – along with her group of five over-40 dancers (Rainer’s “Raindears”) appreciated the cushion and support that the SubFloor offered for the performance.
