Al Arabiya, one of the leading Arabic news channels globally, has launched a virtual production studio in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The new space features Rosco’s Chroma Key System, implemented by Rosco dealer Oasis Enterprises, to create a seamless green screen environment for daily live and recorded news programming.
“The primary objective of this project was to enhance Al Arabiya’s Riyadh studio facilities, increasing production capacity while maintaining consistent broadcast quality and technical standards aligned with the network’s established workflows,” said Karim Abdel Massih, Head of Sales - Dubai at Oasis Enterprises.
The installation features Rosco Chroma Key Paint, Chroma Key Floor, and Chroma GaffTM to create a floor-to-ceiling green screen studio. The colour-matched Chroma Key System enables clean, accurate keying, ensuring seamless integration of virtual backgrounds and real‑time graphics during news broadcast production.
Oasis Enterprises was responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the chroma key solution, covering the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the Chroma Key System, as well as the associated studio lighting and lighting control systems.
